I am a storyteller at heart and a Graphic Designer by trade.
Throughout my 20+ year TV & film career I have hopped from studio to studio, designing for all the major networks, as well as HBO, WB, Starz, Disney, Apple TV, and Netflix, all the while collecting mentors, friends and skills along the way. Working in Hollywood has been pure magic.
I love creating and designing from the perspective of unique characters across diverse cultures and time periods. My career in visual storytelling has spanned both the Art Department and VFX/Post Production, where in a single day I might create signage for a fictional business, design a graphic t-shirt used as a punchline, or develop screens for a faux phone app that delivers an essential plot twist.
In 2019, I took a break from the industry to spend more time with my family. At that time, I took on a role at Art of Play, an online wonder emporium that boasts a curated collection of puzzles, magical home goods and playing cards. being a part of this team was like taking a masterclass in design + craftsmanship + marketing, as we created and produced beautiful objects together.
In 2022, I moved to Boise, Idaho, with my family and I got the itch to work in tv again. Currently, I keep one foot in the tv industry as an active IATSE Local 800 member, working remotely on LA-based projects such as the Disney Channel's “BUNK’D” (2025 Children's & Family Emmy Winner for Outstanding Art Direction) and “The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”; and Netflix’s “YOU” (Post Prod / VFX graphics).
Recently, I've been working with an experiential marketing agency designing environments and interactive elements for live events, exploring new mediums and formats to craft customer journeys and memorable brand engagements. Projects have ranged from trade show booths to influencer events, and mobile pop-up activations for brands such as State Farm, Archer Aviation and HP's HyperX.
If you’re a graphic designer interested in breaking into film/TV—or if you’re someone curious about working in the Art Department—please feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to answer questions and share what I’ve learned along the way.
